PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear Colleagues,

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

There are lots of events coming up this Spring for NEWDNA members. Many of them are featured in this newsletter. The Legislative Breakfast on March 31, Unity Night (April 10), and the annual Nurses' Day Celebration on May 8. Thank you to all the committee members who contribute so generously of their time to organize and present these events for our District.

A reminder that Brenda Tyczkowski, our District Treasurer, will need the 2003-2004 budgets from the committee chairs ASAP. Thanks so much to Brenda for serving in this role year after year!

Nominations are being accepted for NEWDNA "Nurse of the Year". Details for nominations (due by April 1) are found in this newsletter.
Our program for March is being presented by Bonnie Groessl, MSN, APNP. Bonnie specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of headaches, a topic we can all appreciate professionally to help serve our patients better, and which many of us may have a personal interest in as well. Hope to see you there!

Be Well!

Katie Dykes
