Absent: Judy Freiderichs, Connie Korger, John Mapes, Jane Muhl
Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 1930 by President Carol Morris..
Minutes: The minutes of March 16, and August 23, 2004 were approved as written The minutes of September 21, 2004 were approved after being amended to read that Julie Zeeman, was excused from the meeting.
Treasurer’s Report: The Treasurer’s Report of 09-01-04 to 09-31-04 was approved as written.
President’s Report: Carol indicated that John Mapes has had an address change and she has been unable to reach him. Bonnie Groessl has offered to try to find him by doing an online search. Carol also brought to the board’s attention an e-mail address change for Jane Muhl. The new address is: jvmuhl@bcon.edu. An updated list of Board members and officers will be posted to the www.newdna.org website.
Annual Reports: 2003 – 2004 written Annual Reports received include: Program, Finance, Nominations, Bylaws, Awards, Nurses Day, and Leadership. Written Annual Reports still due: Legislative, Membership/PR, PRN, and Website.
Committee Reports
PROGRAM: No report.

LEGISLATIVE: No report
WINPAC: No Report.
MEMBERSHIP: No report
PUBLICITY: No Report.
NOMINATIONS: No report.
BYLAWS: Carol Morris brought up a point of order regarding the Board meeting held in September. Since no quorum was present, no business should have been conducted. The approval of Bylaws will be brought up at the next meeting.
AWARDS: No Report
NURSES DAY: No Report
Old Business:
* The NEWDNA is still looking for new members for the organization.
New Business:
| A discussion was held regarding earlier delivery of the PRN newsletter. Brenda Tyczkowski indicates that she has purchased a scanner in order to get it online sooner. |
| Carol Morris distributed established NEWDNA Position Descriptions to the Board. Members have been asked to review their own Position Descriptions for accuracy and submit suggestions so that the Position Descriptions can be updated. |
| A photograph was taken of the 2004-2005 Board of Directors and will be placed on the website. |
Next Board of Directors Meeting: January 18, 2005 at the Eagles Nest, Green Bay.
